The Larchmont Professional Firefighters Association, and it's members, are proud to display our new "company patch"! After a very long and tedious process in which various ideas were reviewed, the membership voted to adopt this design as our patch. We are very pleased with how it came out and would like to thank A. J. Fusco, Harrison Firefighter's Local 2245, for his talent.
The term "Manor Mutts" was chosen for the patch for two reasons. The Manor part of the phrase comes from the location of the firehouse in the Manor section of the Village of Larchmont. The Mutts part was chosen for it's representation of a mutt being a homogolation of several breeds. While not pure breds, mutts have long been considered one of the most loyal, trusted and caring creatures. The members of the Larchmont Professional Firefighters are very much like the loved family mutts, we come from many different backgrounds and we are dedicated and proud to serve those we are entrusted to protect.
